I'm considering using them in my scholarship portfolio but have doubts since they are pretty simple. But I just love them!

Composition & Painting Final

This was an illustration to accompany an article in The Guardian about how the amount of friends a person has on facebook is linked to how narcissistic and shallow they are.

I had fun doing this piece since it was in a style different than what I had ever done. It was my final for David Luce's class; it's going to suck not having a class with him next term. I hope to still produce work worthy of my portfolio all the same. 

Design 2 Final

Excuse the Instragram pics, I don't have a nice camera at the moment. This was my design final in which the idea was to make a 3D abstraction from nature. My object was a barnacle and I constructed my sculpture out of veneer, styrene, and vellum. 

"It Was Still"

This is the first page of my own personal graphic novel, different than the one I did for my digital design class. I've been working on this page on and off for a couple weeks whenever I had time before bed. The other pages won't be as detailed, I did this mostly for my scholarship portfolio, but also it was a sort of therapy each night to just work on each little part of this piece. I will post the pages as I draw them and you can see the story unfold :)
